Serving the children of the world

I entered the World of Kiwanis in1977 and began to enjoy the friendship of many new friends as I served our community together. My home club was thirteenth club chartered in the District of Georgia (September 29, 1920). One fellow Kiwanian made a big impact on my life (CW4 William T. Johnson), he was the secretary of our club and knew all the ins and outs of Kiwanis. He took me under his wing so to speak and after our regular Tuesday lunch meeting he would invite me to join him at our local library (Mary Willis Library-1888) where he introduced me to an apple 2e computer. Getting my feet wet with word processing, using a spread sheet and a data base.
